After searching for groups about castles I was really surprised that there were none, so I've started a new Group called "Castles Around the World" Please spread the news and let all your friends know they can upload images to this new group.

On my days off from work I like to travel, but as I only get one day off a week I can't travel very far:-)
On Thursday I decided to head for the South Coast, I'd been a few times before and really enjoy those amazing white cliffs. It wasn't very promising though, in London it was pouring with rain and the forecast was for high winds and heavy downpours all day. Ahhh well, I thought I'd catch a few shots of people struggling with brollys. Little did I know it would be soooo different on the coast.
However, before heading for Beachy Head and Hope Cove and views of the white cliffs, I decided to stop off at Eastbourne first, there are some wonderful scenes to be captured here. It's full of older people who've retired to the coast, but it's always full of life and joy. You'll always see bus loads of youngsters touring the famous sights around, this gives an air of excitement. I love watching their expressions as they get of the coach and see the Pier and Bandstand.
This day the light was awesome and there was a strong wind, but such superb colours and compositions flooded my head. What shall I capture today? Soon I settled into the place, it takes time to get into the zone, and I was snapping away at the Bandstand, the seats, the pier and the long beach. Hope you enjoy some of these works. I'll be sharing more as time permits.

Just found this amazing website. I live in the UK and live to share and enjoy photography and art which reflects the beauty of this superb world the Lord has given us all to enjoy. I look forward to sharing with many other artists.
